Refund & Return Policy

1. Overview

At Bookyst, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. This policy outlines our refund and return procedures for both physical and digital products.

2. Physical Books

Eligibility for Returns

Physical books may be returned within 7 days of delivery if:

  • The book is damaged or defective upon arrival
  • You received the wrong book
  • The book has missing pages or printing errors

Non-Returnable Items

  • Books that have been written in, highlighted, or otherwise marked
  • Books with damaged covers due to customer handling
  • Books returned after 7 days of delivery

Return Process

  1. Contact us within 7 days of delivery
  2. Provide your order number and photos of the damaged/defective item
  3. Wait for our team to review and approve the return request
  4. Ship the book back to us (prepaid shipping label will be provided for approved returns)
  5. Refund will be processed within 5-7 business days after receiving the returned item

3. Digital Books (PDFs/eBooks)

Important Notice

Due to the nature of digital products, all digital book sales are final and non-refundable once the download link has been accessed.

Exceptions

Refunds for digital products may be considered in the following cases:

  • Technical issues preventing download (if unresolved after troubleshooting)
  • Duplicate purchase of the same product
  • Product significantly different from the description

4. Refund Methods

Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method:

  • UPI/Bank Transfer: Refund to the same bank account within 5-7 business days
  • Credit/Debit Card: Refund to the same card within 7-10 business days

5. Cancellation

Order cancellation is possible under the following conditions:

  • Physical Books: Orders can be cancelled before shipment for a full refund
  • Digital Books: Orders can be cancelled before accessing the download link

To cancel an order, contact us immediately with your order number.

6. Damaged in Transit

If your physical book arrives damaged due to shipping:

  • Take photos of the damaged package and book immediately
  • Contact us within 48 hours of delivery
  • We will arrange a replacement or full refund at no extra cost
